  • Completion date: November 2010
  • Funded by: NZ Police

NZ police requested NDRI review literature and provide a report on managing alcohol at large scale events. This report reviewed all national and international literature, both published and ‘grey’ literature and recommended a series of actions that could be used to prevent and reduce alcohol related harm at large scale events. The paper was submitted to NZ police and also was provided to a range of police services around Australia to assist in strategies to reduce the risk of alcohol related harm at (especially) sporting events.
