Emma Vieira

Emma joined NDRI in 2022, commencing her PhD in 2024. Her PhD is titled “Investigating young people’s drinking: the role of gender in health and harm outcomes.” Using a mixed-methods approach, her aim is to better understand how young women and men in Australia use alcohol and experience related harms.

Emma is also employed within the Alcohol Policies & Strategy team on a part-time basis, researching adolescent alcohol consumption.
