Fit for purpose: The legal, medical and social barriers and enablers to safer PIED injecting

The Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS, La Trobe University), the Social Studies of Addiction Concepts (SSAC) research program at NDRI Melbourne, and Monash Law School, Monash University invite you to attend a full-day forum exploring issues relating to performance and image-enhancing drug (PIED) use, injecting, the law, health and the fitness industry.

This forum has been developed in response to the rise of PIED injecting in Australia. It brings together researchers, health and community services and the fitness industry to explore some of the challenges, complexities and opportunities associated with the delivery of health information and healthcare to people who use PIEDs.

Time: 10.30am – 4.45pm
