Year 12 COVID study

Year 12 alcohol, drugs, mental health and COVID study

Researchers from the National Drug Research Institute would like to speak with young people who were in Year 12, or an alternative, during 2021 for a study about alcohol and other drug use, mental health, educational experiences and the impact of COVID-19.

Sharing your knowledge and experiences will help inform policy and service supports into the future.

If you are from NSW or Victoria and were in Year 12 (or in an alternative year 12 pathway) during 2021 and are interested in taking part in an in-depth interview, contact NDRI Associate Professor Nyanda McBride at n.mcbride@curtin.edu.au and provide your name and mobile phone number. Nyanda will get back to you with more details about the study and suggested days and times for an interview.

The study will provide a gift voucher to participants as reimbursement.

This study has been approved by the Curtin Human Research Ethics Committee (HR2022-0003).
