Ecstasy Use study
Ecstasy and Related Drugs Reporting System (EDRS)
Researchers from the National Drug Research Institute (NDRI) would like to speak with people who have been using ecstasy/MDMA and/or other illicit stimulant drugs (e.g., cocaine and dexamphetamine) in Perth recently.
Confidential surveys are being conducted with our friendly researchers in person or over phone between April 7 and June 30, 2025.
The survey takes about an hour, is anonymous (you may use a false name) and you will be reimbursed $40 cash for your time.
Sharing your knowledge will help us understand current drug trends in Perth and issues faced by people who use drugs. This research may be used to influence government policies on a range of issues including harm reduction services and education.
This study has been approved by the Curtin Human Research Ethics Committee (HR27/2015).
To register your interest, complete our online pre-screening form from April 4 to get a call back or call/SMS Jodie on 0416 303 461.
