Profile
The National Drug Research Institute is one of the largest centres of drug research expertise in Australia. The Institute currently employs around twenty research staff and has a number of postgraduate research students.
Recognising that problems associated with drug use are complex in their origins, a multi-disciplinary approach to research is pursued. This is reflected in the experience of the Institute's staff, who are drawn from a range of disciplines including psychology, epidemiology, public health, sociology and anthropology.
In addition, there are seven business support services staff, including a Business Manager, Computer Systems Officer, Media Liaison Officer and a Library Resource Officer.
