Aboriginal Research Lead

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person to lead an established multidisciplinary team of dynamic researchers to work on the NDRI Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Program and further enhance NDRI as a centre of best practice in conducting community driven research. The successful applicant will be offered either an academic or professional role, depending on their qualifications and experience.

Senior Research Fellow/Associate Professor (ALC/ALD)

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join the NDRI Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Program and further enhance NDRI as a centre of best practice in conducting community driven research. You will particularly contribute to academic leadership in an established multidisciplinary team of dynamic researchers who undertake original and community-driven research that aims to change policy and improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities in relation to alcohol and other drug use. You will work closely with an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who will be part of the team leadership and your role will support the work of the team and the team’s comprehensive and community relevant research agenda.
