WESTERN AUSTRALIAN DRUG TRENDS SEMINAR: HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE 2024 ILLICIT DRUG REPORTING SYSTEM (IDRS) AND ECSTASY AND RELATED DRUGS REPORTING SYSTEM (EDRS)

Event Details:

The Perth Drug Trends team invites community stakeholders to join them for a morning session, where they will present key findings from the 2024 interviews for the Western Australian Illicit Drug Reporting System (IDRS) and the Ecstasy and Related Drugs Reporting System (EDRS). These presentations will be followed by a panel discussion featuring community experts, Paul Dessauer (PBHRWA) and Matt Ryan (WANADA), as well as NDRI's new Director and world-renowned drug expert, Professor Paul Griffiths.

Cool refreshments and a light morning tea will be available for those interested in staying after the seminar for a chat. Coffee and tea are available for purchase on the ground floor at Ground + Co Cafe, and attendees are welcome to bring their drinks into the event space.

Location and access

Great Southern Room (Level 4), State Library of Western Australia, Perth Cultural Centre, 25 Francis Street, Perth WA 6000.

The library is easily accessible via public transport and 24-hour undercover parking is available directly beneath the building.

The Great Southern Room is on Level 4 overlooking the Perth business district. Take the lift to the Level 3 and you will see a set of stairs to Level 4. If you’re unable to use stairs, access via lift is available back of house. You can report to ground floor library reception, and they will assist you. If you need access via lift, we would appreciate notification beforehand to alert the library, but it is not essential.
