Prestigious award for NDRI alcohol researcher Michael Livingston

Renowned NDRI researcher Michael Livingston has been recognised with the APSAD Mid-Career Award.

Announced at the recent APSAD Conference in Darwin, the Mid Career Award recognises a significant contribution to the alcohol and other drug field, including through research impact, range and quality of outputs, dissemination of research, and leadership.

“Michael's application was a standout in terms of mentoring, leadership grants, publications, and contributions to major guidelines,” the Awards Committee said.

APSAD, the Australasian Professional Society on Alcohol & other Drugs, is Asia Pacific’s leading multidisciplinary organisation for professionals involved in the alcohol and other drug field.
