The Responsible Parenting Initiative (RPI) was introduced by the Western Australian Government to promote the responsibility of parents in ensuring that their children do not engage in anti social, truanting or offending behaviour and to provide appropriate assistance and support to enable them to meet this responsibility. The Australian Institute of Criminology has overall responsibility for evaluating the program. NDRI is undertaking data collection and analysis. Completion of the project in its current form and submission of the final project report is planned for September 2006.
