This project is in the process of developing a set of national health indicators for prisoners. Phase 1 (complete) produced a document outlining the importance of collecting national health data on prisoners; phase 2 (complete) produced a draft national set of indicators (currently with AHMAC); phase 3 (to commence next year) will conduct a pilot test in 4 states. Associate Professor Tony Butler is the chair of the technical sub-committee.
