Performance and Image Enhancing Drugs (PIEDs) study

If you are a man who injects performance and image enhancing drugs (PIEDs), we would like to speak to you.

A new study based at Curtin University aims to explore personal experiences of PIED injecting. The study is open to men aged 18 years and over who have injected PIEDs in the last 12 months and are currently living in Victoria, New South Wales or Queensland.

The purpose of the study is to gather information about:

  • Personal experiences of PIED injecting
  • Making decisions about use
  • Knowledge of safe practices and risks

You are the experts we need to hear from!

Participation is confidential and anonymous. It involves an interview of about one hour, conducted in a location of your choice. The interview will be audio recorded and you will be reimbursed $50 for your time.
