Drug use at outdoor music festivals project
This project is investigating drug use, drug policy and harm reduction at outdoor music festivals in two Australian states: Western Australia and Victoria. The findings from this project will be used to help develop recommendations aimed at reducing the risk of future drug-related harm at these events.
As part of this project, I'll be speaking directly to festival-goers to get their view on a variety of drug-related festival issues. I'll also be speaking to a range of key stakeholders; including emergency health services, law enforcement, government and the music industry. All information collected will be confidential and anonymous. Festival-goers involved in Phase 1 and 3 will receive a JB Hi-Fi or iTunes gift voucher as a reimbursement for their time and those who complete the online survey will go in the draw to win a $500 JB Hi-Fi gift voucher.
