Welcome to The Brief Intervention Training for Tobacco Smoking Project, which is a component of the Smoke Free WA Health System Policy (SFQAHS).
This self-directed learning package has been designed:
- to assist you to understand the Smoke Free WA Health System Policy
- to enhance your capacity to assist patients to comply with the policy by preventing and managing nicotine withdrawal symptoms
- to offer brief interventions to help patients consider quitting smoking.
Work through modules 1-4 at your own pace and complete the short quiz at the end of each module. Once you've completed all four modules and a final quiz covering the entire learning package, you'll be given the option of downloading and printing out a certificate that confirms you have successfully completed the course.
