Welcome to The Brief Intervention Training for Tobacco Smoking Project, which is a component of the Smoke Free WA Health System Policy (SFQAHS).

This self-directed learning package has been designed:

to assist you to understand the Smoke Free WA Health System Policy
to enhance your capacity to assist patients to comply with the policy by preventing and managing nicotine withdrawal symptoms
to offer brief interventions to help patients consider quitting smoking.

Work through modules 1-4 at your own pace and complete the short quiz at the end of each module. Once you've completed all four modules and a final quiz covering the entire learning package, you'll be given the option of downloading and printing out a certificate that confirms you have successfully completed the course.
